The hosted portal is suitable for evaluation, internal testing, and non-production traffic today. It is not yet covered by a signed BAA. That comes with the May 30 production beta.
What production beta includes
- Signed BAA between your entity and Masker.
- VPC deployment — the Masker Rust container running in your AWS, GCP, Azure, or on-prem environment. Raw audio and PHI never leave your network.
- Hosted option — same product on
masker-voice.fly.devif you don’t need self-hosted. - Full HIPAA Safe Harbor coverage — all 18 identifier categories (today the hosted portal covers 9 fully, with 3 partial).
- Hands-on onboarding — a direct Slack channel with the founding team and assisted setup for your first production agent.
- Pilot pricing — 2,500 / 30-day pilot option for early teams.
Who we prioritize
We can’t onboard everyone in May. We’re prioritizing:- Healthcare voice AI builders with paying customers or named pilots — companies placing PHI-bearing calls in production today.
- Series A–C voice AI companies on Vapi, Bolna, Retell, LiveKit, or Twilio that need a HIPAA compliance layer before expanding.
- Health systems and telehealth startups running voice agent pilots who need a documented HIPAA story.
How to apply
Email hello@masker.dev with the following:- Your company name and what you’re building.
- Your voice platform (Vapi, Bolna, Retell, or custom).
- Your upstream LLM (OpenAI, Anthropic, self-hosted, or other).
- Approximate monthly audio minutes today and projected for next quarter.
- Whether you need VPC deployment or if hosted is sufficient.
What you can do today without applying
You don’t need to wait for May 30 to start evaluating Masker. All of the following are open right now:- Sign in at masker-voice.fly.dev/portal/login and connect a Vapi agent.
- Follow the Quickstart to place your first masked call and verify the result in OpenAI’s logs.
- Use try.masker.dev — no signup or Vapi account required, runs the full pipeline against a stub LLM.
